Happy Stitching

Thank you Pauline and Madame Samm and please accept my applogies for not participating on the hop today.

We had to travel out-of-town to take care of the loss of our daughter.

I want to Thank all who left wonderful comments during our time of sorrow. It has not been easy for our family. On Thanksgiving we will have an empty place setting at the table. The days get harder, but my focus is to do what we can for her four amazing children.

I ask that when you are visiting with your family, that you grab one another and hold tighter than you ever had.

I am so greatful that I held my daughter, told her I loved her and gave her a kiss and spent a few hours together the day before she passed. The last communication I received from  her was a text saying" I love you mommie" which I have so many on my cell phone.

So grab your love one, tell them you love them, hug them and kiss them. Tomorrow four beautiful children will not be hugged, kissed, or told they are loved from they mommy, just say, their mommy died.

I wish everyone a Safe, and Happy Thanksgiving!

  11. Lovely pillow!
I am so sorry about the loss of your daughter. There are never the right words to say and many words you hear will be the wrong words. It is hard for people to express sorrow, and they do mean well, so try to take the words as expressions of love for you and your family. I know, as I have been in your shoes. Time does make it easier, but it is a slow process. Your message to hug each other and express your love for each other is so true. We never know how much time we have with each other. Memories are precious.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
