Correction on Tsukineko Ink

Just wanted to make a correction on the spelling Tsukineko Ink.  Found a quilt shop from http://www.jukeboxquilts.com/ who sales the ink.  Also they had a ad in The Quilter Magazine May 2008 issue. The only thing I would do different when using this ink is us aloe vera clear.  Water will bleed thru on the material.  The aloe vera gel will not. It will set better after it dries, then use a hot iron to set it.

Have a wonderful evening,

Judith

New Mini Quilt

First, I do want to say to the folks at the Rockport Quilt Show given by the Piecemakers by the Bay last month, Thank You for giving a wonderful show.  Took some classes, one was Tuskineko Ink Blocks. (Google if you want to read more). This was a great class and then some.  I did manage to do some shopping, buying up fat quarters, fell in love with a red batik, stamps by kate (survivors kit), scrap dive and shopped at the country store and a whole lot more.  This is one of my favorite shows to go.  Held every two years.  I look forward to the next show.

Now my version of the 12 days of Christmas, but done in Pink for Februray.  You can find the pattern on Temecula Quilt Co's Blog.  http://temeculaquiltco.blogspot.com/2011/12/on-1st-day-of-christmas.html.

Here is my photo.  Sorry, it is not a great picture.

The mini was machine and hand stitch.  There are some errors in the quilt, but I do believe I will get better with pratice.  I do plan to make another version later.

I hope you enjoy the pattern and Thank you to the folks over at Temecula Quilt Co for this pattern.

Happy Quilting,

Judith
